Impact

KICK…

Every number represents a young person. Every story represents a journey. Every life has the potential to be transformed.

Across schools, communities and churches, KICK is reaching young people through sport and support – enabling them to personally develop, socially connect and spiritual change – and bringing hope for the future and joy in the present.

Our impact is measured in more than numbers. It’s seen in increased confidence and happier, healthier lives, that have more meaning and purpose.

Here’s what our impact looks like.

What Young People told us

We surveyed 500 young people and on average nearly four out of five of them said that they felt more happy, less anxious, were more satisfied with their lives, as well as having more meaning and purpose in their lives, as a result of working with KICK.

Case Study

A young person’s story

A Year 11 pupil who had struggled with behaviour and engaging with the Christian life of the school began meeting regularly with a KICK Chaplain. Through 1:1 support and encouragement, he grew in confidence, became a positive example to younger pupils and increasingly engaged with his faith.

He has since given his life to Christ, was baptised in May, and now helps lead Bible study, Christian Union and Youth Alpha. He has also been appointed Head Boy.
